Dear Sir,
I am writing in reference to express my disagreement regarding the closure of the sports and leisure centre “The Impromptu”. Allow me to explain in detail the ramifications on the local community.
To elucidate most of the community members have been using the club facilities for the past 20 years. Although I don’t enjoy some activities at the club however I try to spend most of my leisure time along with my family in the club doing sports activities. Additionally, most of the social gatherings on important festivals are being hosted in the club as it can accommodate large gatherings in the basement. Moreover, elderly people use the club for doing exercise and yoga activities to rejuvenate themselves whereas children use it for sports activities like swimming and other indoor games. Therefore the club is of importance to all the residents in the community as most of the people use it regularly.
Furthermore, it is the only club within this town hence without it local community will suffer and their life will become miserable as they would have to travel a long distance to avail such amenities.
I hope my suggestion is taken into consideration.
