the consumption of fish and some different kinds of meat in a European country between 1979 and 2004
The chart illustrated the consumption of fish and flesh (which separated into chicken, beef, as well as lamb in the European Regions since 1979 to 2004).
It is clear that in every 5 years the consumption of chicken tended to increase considerably, from 150 grams per person per week to 300 grams. In contrast, beef and lamb which were the highest and the second of consumption of meat in 1979, since 1984 to 2004 the trend of it was dropped extremely. Moreover, the term of beef which is the most meat consumption in 1984 which reached around 240 per person per week, in 1989 was jumped down intensely due to the rise of chicken consumption.
Even though the trend of fish tended to declined, albeit its reduction was is not significant then the others. However, since 1979 to 1984 the volume of fish consumption always a slightly under compared to the meat expenditure.
