Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to inquire about the part-time position as a chef advertised in ‘The Evening Echo’ on 24th June.
As you can see from my enclosed CV, I have a lot of relevant experience in this field. Last year, I worked as a Head Chef at The Radisson Hotel, where I was in charge of 10 chefs. Also, I was a judge in a cooking competition.
It is a well-known restaurant in Manchester, working here would give a new recognition. Also, this restaurant is near to my house, so I don’t have to travel longer if I work here. In fact, the job timing is also 6-9 in the evening, which will not hamper my study as I have college till afternoon.
There are a number of reasons why I think I would be suitable for this job. First, I can cook a variety of cuisines which will include new items on your restaurant’s menu. Secondly, I can speak English and French, means sometimes I can do both taking orders and cooking food.
If you require any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
Yours faithfully,
Michael
