Diagram
The diagram describes changes at Queen Mary hospital since 1960. As shown in 1960 hospital was build close to the Main road. On the left hand side of the hospital was a Shopping centre . Area behind hospital was used as a car park, while the area behind shopping centre was a farmland.
The differences can be seen in 1980, when shopping centre was demolished. Instead of shopping centre there was a Cancer centre. Farmland was turned into a Nursery school. Hospital and car park stayed at the same place, only difference was that hospital now consisted a pharmacy on the left hand side. In 2000, cancer centre was turned into bigger and it was I L shape. Hospital and Pharmacy stayed exactly the same as they been in 1980.
But , as they made a Cancer centre bigger, car park and nursery needed to be smaller.
In general, through this period of years, Hospital remained the same , adding Cancer centre and a Nursery school. Biggest difference was seen at car park that went dramatically smaller.
