Due to various factors we have faced the fact of degradation. Here based on two illustrated diagram and table we analyzing some effective factors and some degraded land of different parts of world:
According to pie chart main cause of worldwide land degradation is over grazing, which accounts for 35%. The second factor is land’s deforestation by 30%. The third reason, by accounting for 28%is over-cultivation. And the last not least reason by seven percent includes other factors.
The table analysis 3 different countries, North America, Europe and Oceania for how much they are involved in degradation.
Land degradation in Europe is 23% : The main reason is deforestation at 9.8% , then over-cultivation by 7.7% and 5.5%for over grazing.
Eroded land in Oceania is 13% : The first cause at 11.3% is over-grazing and then 1.7% for deforestation.
Land degradation is North America is 5% : 3.3% for over-cultivation, 1.5% for over grazing and 0.2% because of deforestation.
