Mobile phones were used in 1997, in the UK with the beginning at 40%, and this figure climbed swiftly progressing in the next 5 years and traversed to 80% by 2001. On the other hand, using computers accounted for 20% in 1997, although this category also incremented dramatically, rising from about 20% to around 90% during the period. In the meantime, the proportion of the usage of the internet was 10% in 1997 which is gradually increased and reached 40% in 2001.
Overall, Most of the users choice computer rather than other technological gadgets in 2001. This category experienced a sharp growth from 1997 to 2001, whereas there was a continuing upward trend in the using of other devices expect CDs and DVDs.
