It is noticeable that while globalisers average GDP increased significantly over the period, the proportions of wealthy countries and non-globalisers experienced a decrease in their figures.
In the period of 1960s, wealthy countries had the highest average growth in domestic products with nearly 5%, and only 1.3% for globalisers average GDP. Thirty years later, there was a dramatic increase of around 3.5% in the proportions of globalisers, making it the countries with the highest average GDP growth at that time. On the other hand, the percentage of wealthy countries GDP went down significantly to just about 2%.
Looking at the non-globalisers, the figures fluctuated from 1960s to 1990s. Initially, it started to rise from 2.2% to 3.1% in the first ten years, but in the next period from 1970s to 1980s, it declined to only 0.8%. Finally, in the last ten years between 1980s and 1990s, it recovered at around 1.5%
