The charts illustrate about the different the online shopping sales of retail sectors in Canada between 2005 and 2010. There are four variant categories, specifically electronics and appliance, food and beverage, home furnishings, and video games. Overall, at the beginning of the period video games contributed the least to the online shopping sales of country, while electronics and appliance was the largest online shopping sales and the most negative trend was home furnishings segment.
With regards to online shopping sales for retail sectors, video games section accounted for 18% in 2005 and had a slight growth of 5% in 2010. Initially, food and beverage part included for 22% which was increase dramatically to 32% in 2010.
In another major categories, in 2005, electronics and appliance got 35% which was the highest online shopping sales for retail sectors and fell to 30% in 2010. Meanwhile, home furnishings fragment calculated for 25% in 2005 and dropped sharply to 15% in 2010.
