There have been some problems with the bus service, especially its reliability, in your area over the last two weeks.
Write a letter to the manager of the bus company. In your letter
• describe what the problems are
• explain how these problems are affecting you
• suggest what you would like the company to do
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express my grievances with regards to the reliability of bus number 12. Since it takes the fastest route and has limited stops, I use it daily to commute to work. However, in the last two weeks the frequency has been erratic and the bus has not been arriving as per the time chart.
Let me explain the situation in detail. initially, the bus used to arrive at 8 a.m. sharp, thus enabling me to reach my office on time. Nowadays it does not have a fixed schedule and arrives according to it's whims and fancies, sometimes even as late as 8.30. As a result it causes me to reach late and miss many important meetings, thus hampering my productivity. These days I am forced to travel by train which is a very long and harrowing journey. Moreover, many travellers from my area have been experiencing similar inconveniences.
Keeping the situation in mind I request you to immediately ensure that your staff adheres strictly to the timings in order to avoid any unpleasant situations. Additionally a surprise check of them can also be initiated.
I look forward to your reply
Yours faithfully,
Mary Smith
