You live in a room in the college hostel which has severe problems. You would like to move into another room and need your hostel super's permission for that.
Write a letter to the hostel super. In your letter,
• introduce yourself
• describe the problems
• explain what type of room you would prefer
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear Sir or Madam,
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to inform you about the inconvenience we are facing in the current accommodation. It would be a great option, if you could change my room.
Let me explain you in more detail. I am, Tim frank, student of 1st year, doing major in Hotel management. I am staying in room number 415 on sharing basis with Simon George, who is in the same field.
The problem which we are facing currently is the room size. The room is not as spacious for two people. There are extra furniture placed in the room other than our beds. Most of the time, we have got hurt because of sharp edges on the furniture.
We had conversation with some of the students from previous academics and they informed us that the room which is allocated to us currently, is only for single person and I also feel the same. So, I would request you to shift me to other room, which would be spacious and could accommodate two people easily with all the basic furniture you provide in the room.
I will be waiting for your positive response.
Yours faithfully,
Tim Frank
