Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to show my interest in volunteer work at City art gallery at the weekends. I have been involved in many kinds of public activities for the last few years. The main reason for my participation is that I feel happy when I help people in any way. Also, I have some experience in handling sculptures at an old monument in the past.
Furthermore, I am capable of doing any kind of work-related to the gallery. When I participated in the art and craft exhibition last year, I could able to explain sculptures history to visitors. So, I am looking forward to handling the same kind of responsibility this year as well. I would only be interested in unpaid work because the culture is something which is very close to my heart.
Generally, I go to the office from Monday to Friday, and I am free on Saturday and Sunday. On weekends, I can come from morning 8:00 AM till 8:00 PM. Moreover, if it is required to stay longer, I would be more than happy to stretch it up to 10:00 PM. Nevertheless, I can come on weekdays as well in case of any emergency, but I can come only after my office hours. My office timings are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
I am looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.
Yours sincerely.
Matt Henry
