The process shows how plants create food
The diagram describes the process of how food was produced by plants.
Overall, it is clear that the process includes several stages. In particular, there are four inputs and two products.
It can be seen from the diagram that there are four essential factors which are used for development of plants, namely sunlight, carbon dioxide, water and minerals. The plants expose to sunlight and consume it to create energy. In addition, carbon dioxide is taken from the atmosphere through the leaves. The roots play an important part in absorbing water and minerals through the soil.
In terms of products, oxygen and surgar are products of process. Specifically, oxygen is a byproduct. It is released into the air after taking place metabolism process. The main product of process is known as sugar which is changed to starch. Then it can be used for growth or repair of plant.
