The diagrams below are existing and proposed floor plans for the redevelopment of an art gallery.
The maps describe the way in which a floor of an art gallery would develop.
Overall, it is clear that the floor witnesses significant changes to become more modern and have more spacious space for exhibition.
For the exhibition space, there rooms of permanent and temporary spaces are converted into the integrated room which would be a large permanent exhibition space in the proposed floor plan. In this new exhibition area, a new entrance which could lead to the parking court appears. In addition, it can be seen that the special exhibition space and the store of displaying would be constructed in comparison with the existing plan.
Looking at the change of spaces near the old entrance, the lobby and office would be demolished to make way for an education area and a store. There would be also no the entrance in this place in the suggested plan. Many changes appear although the total size of the space stays unchanged.
