Overall, it is evident that the Uk and Japan had experienced a downward trend with some fluctuation over the time period, whereas in the USA it was upwards, albeit with some volatility.
To initiate, the most marked change had seen in Japan, gradually increase from a tiny portion in 1990 to approximately 5 percent in 1996, which later plummeted to just over 1 percent in 2004. Moreover, the figure for the UK had experienced a certain oscillation throughout the years, which obviously leads to the lowest trend over fourteen years, which is nearly 2 percent in 2002.
Furthermore, the figure for the USA had faced a certain vacillation in the first four years. Likewise, it significantly rises in the following years, peaking from exactly 2 percent in 1990 to around 6 percent in the year 2000. However, it slowly slumped in the remaining two years at 5 percent in 2004.
