Write a letter to an English speaking friend, in your letter
-Explain why you changed jobs.
-Describe your new job.
-Tell him/her your other news.
Dear Judy,
It’s been few weeks since we catch up together! Actually, I was busy receiving my position in a new pharmaceutical company and I’m eager to tell you all about my updates!
As you know I have been asking for a promotion, as a senior production specialist, in my old job for a while, but they weren’t responding to my request. So I started sending my CV to other companies, and I accepted an offer from a multinational organization after they had interviewed me.
Let me explain more about my new title. I am the head production specialist of Effervescent Tablet Department which produces one-third of the total gross income of the company. My job description is to manage the processes of manufacture, compression and packaging of five different products.
To surprise you, even more, Reem, my younger sister, is getting married next June! Honestly, I can’t catch my breath, as I have to be with her during all wedding preparations. We already picked a gorgeous design for the wedding dress as well as the cake. It’d be more than great if you could make it to the wedding
I hope to see you soon.
Love,
Randa
