The charts show how much a UK school spent on different costs in three separate years – 1981, 1991 and 2001.
According to all years, it can be blatantly seen that, expenditure on teachers’ salaries has the greatest percentages; starting from 40% in 1981 it increases by 5 % in 1991 and drops 45% in 2001. Expenditure on other workers’ salaries had the second highest percentages during 1981 and 1991 (28 and 22% respectively) which decreased significantly to 15 % in 2001.
