The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.
Given are two maps comparing the appearance of a public park from its first year of opening in 1920 and today.
A brief analysis of the figures reveals some striking alternations in the park, including changes in seat locations, adding and removing of some facilities.
To begin regarding the entrance, there is not any considerable changes except providing a new entrance from an underground car park which is situated in the right corner of the Eldon street. Besides, there were three rose gardens in three different sites in the year 1920. However, one of them is completely deleted, the other one on the top right of the figure is supplanted by a cafe. Moreover, the pond for water plants is being substituted by a ground for children's play.
Also, Stage for musicians and the fountain are replaced by an amphitheatre for concerts and rose garden respectively. It is also interesting to note that seats surround the rose garden area in the middle of the park. The final significant change is being done on glasshouse, removing it and constructing a beautiful water feature.
