You recently bought a piece of equipment for your kitchen but it did not work. You phoned the shop but no action was taken.
Write a letter to the shop manager. In your letter:
describe the problem with the equipment
explain what happened when you phoned the shop
say what you would like the manager to do
Dear Sir/Madam,
This letter is a formal complaint with regards to express my dissatisfaction towards an electronic appliance brought along with the callous service response when called at the shop.
Just to bring to your attention, I bought a 'Phillips- Juicer Mixer' last week from one of your renowned shops from Downtown, Toronto. During the demo the equipment worked well; however, when the product was shipped at home it was found malfunctioned. Not only the appliance halted, the juicer container was also broken. I was reluctant to open the packaging in the first go, but I found it was not tightly packed. Lastly, there was no caution marked as 'fragile' on the box thus, it seems the product had dismantled while shipping.
Additionally, I rang the service department same day and informed the malfunctioning of the equipment. I was assured that the shipment will collected next day and the complaint has been registered under the case- AX4234. Just to re-assure, I tried to reach the service center to ensure the pick up time, I was told there is no complaint registered and will take a week's time for the replacement.
After going through all the troubles, and false commitments I am not completely thrilled with the purchase. I wan you to straightway get the shipment done, and refund all the amount incurred for the loss. I am not ready to hear any excuses, and if found any I am prepared to take my case to the higher authorities.
I would appreciate your immediate attention to this matter.
Yours faithfully,
Mansi Singh
