You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or to try to get a job. You think he/she should get a job.
Write a letter to this friend. In your letter:
say why he/she would not enjoy going to college
explain why getting a job is a good idea for him/her
suggest types of job that would be suitable for him/her
Dear Karthik,
How are you? I am writing this letter to recommend you get a job in IT industry instead of doing a course in Anna University which is not going to enhance any values to your profile.
We have enjoyed a lot and created many sweet memories during our college days. I don’t think so you can recreate those moments again. Right now, you have completed engineering in computer science with 70% score, additionally you have done certifications in programming. For your mark and coding skills there is huge demand in the market. There are companies ready to offer decent salary plus long-term onshore opportunities. So, it is the best time for you to work rather going to college. Furthermore, I suggest you look for job in software technical stream by this way over a period you can grow as technical specialist. Also, be open to accept any challenges in work, this will give a good impression to your leaders. Let me know if you have any queries or issues.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon,
With regards,
Sreenivas
