A friend you met last year has invited you to visit them in their country.
You have never been there before and need some information before you leave. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:
request advice about a gift for his/her family
ask about activities and clothing
find out about the food
Dear Senthil,
How are you? Hope you are doing well? Thank you for inviting me to your country. This is the first time I am going to travel to aboard, due to that I need few details for packing the luggage for this trip.
Firstly, I planned to buy few famous sweets from my hometown, also I like to buy traditional handmade saree and dhoti for your parents as a surprise gift. I guess they might like this gift if you have any other suggestions let me know so I can buy accordingly. Secondly, I am going to stay for three weeks, this will be my first experience where temperature goes in negative Celsius. So, let me know what type of clothes I should bring to keep myself warm. Share me the activities, locations, places you have planned to take me during this trip. You know that I’m allergic to non- vegetarian foods and packed foods. So, get me a hotel where I can get more vegetarian and organic food during my stay. If you need anything from here let me know.
Looking forward to hearing from you
Regards,
Sreenivas
