The graph illustrates data about the amount of fish and meat consumption for each person in every week over a twenty-five year period between 1979 and 2004 in a European country.
Overall, what stands out from the graph is downward trends for third Beef, Lamb and Fish, while chicken saw a wild fluctuate rise in its consumption over the period. Fish has the lowest amount proportion in the serving meal of European countries. Although Beef was consumed by European people more than others for about ten years from 1979 until 1989, Chicken has been the most amount of once food proportion for the next years.
Looking at the details, as regards beef consumption, the grams of it which each person has used it up per week started at about 220, then there was a dramatically fluctuated fall and then leveled off at about 120 grams. The lamb consumption is more likely to the beef but also it started at about 150 grams, then dropped to the 75 grams used up in 2004. Fish saw the steadily dwindled from 60 grams in 1979 to 50 grams over the next 10 years. Conversely, chicken consumption has soared in the period of the question from under 150 grams to about 250 grams.
In summary, the graph provides information about how the consumption of chicken increased dramatically while the popularity of these other foods decreased over the period.
