The bar chart compares and contrasts data on air contamination in four nations which were influenced by three factors namely: electricity generation, transport, and industry. Measured in part per million in 2012.
Generally speaking, the industry had the biggest negative effect on the environment, while electricity exhausted the least contaminers to the air.
A closer look at the diagram shows that the Chinese industry accounted for up to 80 ppm which was roughly twice larger than that of Japan. In America, however, the transport was the main contributor to air pollution with slightly less than 60 ppm that was double than the other two factors. A further information to note is that the three contributors in Australia exhausted the same amount of air pollutants which was approximately 20 ppm. Although the rate of air pollution caused by industry was the highest in Japan with over 40 ppm, the Japanese electricity generation affected the least among the others with only about 15 ppm.
