The two maps illustrate how the school library has changed for a 5-year period.
Overall, the school library has been improved with the installation of a number of services and facilities, with some areas of the library converted for other intentions.
One key change is the replacement of the desk for computers in the rear-right corner of the library with the desk for students’ laptops. Additionally, the library office which was previously situated near the desk for computers has been removed and replaced by a conference room. Meanwhile, the private studying tables have also been extended. Five years ago, there were only four in total, rising to six in the present day.
Another significant development is the removal of bookshelves, which was opposite to studying tables, has paved the way for the construction of desks for students’ laptops. Regrading the left-sided area of the library, the space for borrowing and returning desk has now been divided into two new areas; one for borrowing and the other for returning. Another change is the addition of a recording studio next to the meeting room which was replaced by a smaller one.
