Half of the survey participants find the prices at Bowen Island too prohibitive. A quarter of respondents cited entertainment options as a disadvantage of the island, making it the second most common disadvantage cited. Making up the remaining 25% are the food quality and the weather conditions found on the island, in third and last place respectively.
As for the advantages of Bowen Island in the eye of tourists, 42% of survey participants appreciated the local people, while roughly a third of them were pleased by the scenery.
