You work for an international company, and would like to spend six months working in its head office in another country.
Write a letter to your manager. In your letter:
• explain why you want to work in the company’s head office for six months
• say how your work could be done while you are away
• ask for his/her help in arranging it
Write at least 150 words.
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to seek your permission for allowing me to work in the headquarters of the company in America for six months. I would like to mention the reason behind it in detail.
Since, our company is planning to expand the global reach of the products if I get the opportunity to work in the headquarters of the organisation it will definitely help me to enhance my skills and expertise. Moreover, it will not only allow me to gain knowledge of trade strategies, regulations and tariffs but also the products’ global market trends deeply
I have talked to Shweta junior sales manager. She agreed to take on my responsibilities during my absence. Furthermore, I shall check my emails and shall be available for emergency calls. Once I get back to work, I would endeavour to work extra hours to catch up on anything I missed.
I would need your support to get all the necessary approvals and email confirmation and further if you could assist me to make arrangements for travel and accommodations. Kindly guide me on the reimbursement policy of flights and hotels of the organisation.
I hope you will consider me suitable for working in the company’s head office. I look forward to hearing from you
Yours sincerely,
Prabhpreet Kaur
