Overall, most significant amount of ground water and public supply were used by chemical industries, while sectors such as textiles and Fuel absorbed the minimal proportion of public supply. Machinery areas consumed a low-level of ground water.
To begin with, when it comes to ground water, chemical departments absorbed around 430 units which was nearly double of the metal sector (240 units). Likewise, paper, food and drinks, and textiles consumed 190,110 and 80 units respectively.
In terms of public supply, companies related to chemicals were at the top position with 240 units. Although metal factories consumed a large amount of ground water, it consumed only one third of in from public supply which was 90 units. around 190 million of cubic meters of water were used by food and drinks industries, which is approximately ten times of the paper industry.
