Dear Sam,
I hope you are doing well. Although it has been just a week since I last saw you, it seems like it has been a long time. I am writing this letter to thank you for the wonderful evening I had at your place on last Saturday.
I was pretty amazed by the variety of dishes your mother served. At first I thought that some of them were ordered from restaurant, but later I asked her myself and she told me that your sister helped in preparing them and all of them were home made. Every dish was unique and mouth-watering. I literally have an urge right now to come at your place again and taste all of those varieties. And the kind of hospitality your family gave me while attending me was incomparable. It felt like home. Apart from that, the desert was something which I can’t forget, so delicious. I hope you don’t mind getting that for me someday.
Initially I was a bit nervous before visiting your home for the reason that I never met your parents before and as your dad is in army, I felt like behaving properly and get well dressed. But when I met them, I was amazed to see that they were as friendly as you. Infact, I would rather say that they are much funnier than you. And when it comes to your sister, she is a whole laughter package. I mean I never imagined that I will enjoy so much, that I’m already missing them. I know they are your parents but I somehow get a feeling as if they are my elder siblings, because of their friendly and open nature.
Therefore, I would like to express my gratitude and would like you, as well as your family to come at my place and have dinner. I’ve already discussed this with my parents and they are ready to attend you as hosts. You wouldn’t believe that even my sister Dolly, who you know is shy and an introvert, is excited to see you guys when I told her about the kind of experience I had at your house. I am thinking to schedule it on coming Saturday as all our parents would be free of work during the weekend. We are absolutely fine with the timings and it is upto you to decide that.
Do let me know in case you want anything special to get prepared. I’m looking forward to meet you all and have an awesome evening.
Best wishes,
Hemant
