Overall, it is evident that doctors in all countries had a higher income than other occupations. In addition, the highest values of both counterparts were witnessed in the USA.
Turning into detail, physicians and employees in other sectors in China and Canada shared the same income, with nearly 90 and about 60 thousand dollars, correspondingly. Likewise, in comparison with the aforementioned countries, Austrian workers in remaining jobs had an equal salary, whereas the figure for doctors was slightly lower, which was approximately 80 thousand dollars. Furthermore, a discernible difference between two occupation groups was also observed in Germany, in which a 110 – thousand – dollar wage for doctors was considerably bigger than that of remaining counterpart.
Regarding to other countries, Japanese physicians and other workers were paid similarly, with above 40 and nearly 35 thousand dollars, respectively. These figures were faintly higher than those of correspondent employees in Czech Republic, whose income was the lowest among 7 surveyed nations. By contrast, with over 120 thousand dollars, the number for American doctors was 4 times higher than that of their Czech fellows. Meanwhile, this also resulted in a gap of 10 thousand dollars between their salary and that of labors from other sectors.
