The diagram illustrates the various stages in the life of a frog.
As can be inferred from the picture, there are seven main steps in the development of a frog, from egg to mature adult amphibian. We can see that the initial part of the life cycle of frog arises underwater but within its development, it comes ashore in its later stage of life.
Frog begins its life when the adult lay eggs into water. After that, eggs hatches leading to the emergence of embryo. Turning to tadpole is the third stage, then over time, the tadpole develops and its body enlarges. Subsequently, its mouth becomes bigger and appearance of front legs happens simultaneously.
In the following step, owning-four-legs frog starts breathing through pulmonary in order to adapt future life on land. After coming ashore, tail of tadpole frog vanish gradually and its legs are larger. Finally, the frog matures, as a result of being on land, it breathes air and also loses its tail. Here it reproduces and the life cycle begins anew.
