Meanwhile, that of households sector, being no more than one million tons, had a fluctuation in downward trend to reach the number of 0.2 in the last year, ranking third-positioned in the chart. Additionally, the number of air pollutants from transportation hovered around at one million tons, holding the second position as compared with others in the period surveyed.
In general, the quality of air in the uk improved increasingly with the amount of total polluted gases dropping from seven million tons in 1990 to just over three million tons in 2005.
