On a recent holiday you lost the valuable item. Fortunately you have travel insurance to cover the cost of anything lost. Write a letter to the manager of your insurance company in your letter describe the item you lost, explain how you lost it, tell the insurance company what you would like them to do.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I, Jane Smith, one of your customers have bought a travel insurance from your firm and my trip to Istanbul, since 2 weeks ago. It contained lost items, too. Unfortunately, in this journey I lost my Swatch watch, on which I was keen. It is a timepiece which is made from silver and some precious stones are applied on it.
As I received Istanbul at 10 o'clock, I had it around my wrist, yet. Then I went to take my luggage, that a passenger, who wanted to take his own luggage was unable to hold it, next to me. When his bag passed me, he still tried to hold it and threw himself on it. Consequently, he made me faint on the floor. This event made some other tourists to fall down. This accident not only made me injured and felt painfully, but also caused my beloved watch to be opened and lost.
I am writing to you to ask you for the fifth section of our appointment according to which I should be paid the item’s value up to $5,000. Meanwhile, the timepiece’s worth was $2,000. As you see, it is lower than the maximum level of payment in the contract.
To wrap up, I appreciate you if I get $2,000 payment for my Swatch watch that is lost in the travel to Istanbul, soon.
Faithfully Yours,
Jane Smith.
