In 1900, there was 50 percent the agriculture contribute to the UK economy and it witnessed a slightly increase in 1950, followed by a significant decline to about 10 percent in 1975 and around 5 percent in 2000 respectively.
The proportion of manufacturing in 1990 was the highest and gradually decreased and stand at 15 percent in 2000. Meanwhile, in 1900, the percentage of business and financial was the lowest level, at about 4 percent, however, we can witness a noticeable rise from 1990 to 2000 and reach its peak in the last point time of the period, in vincinity of 35 percent
