You live in a room in a college where you share it with another student. You find it very difficult to study and work there because your roommate always has friends visiting. He/she has parties in the room and sometimes borrows your things without asking you.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to let you know that the room I am staying is not at all comfortable. While the place and neighbors are good, my roommate has been unacceptable. Because of this nuisance, I am not able to concentrate on my work. I hope you will consider my situation favorably.
Let me explain my situation. The present housemate moved in 3 months back and from the day he moved into the problem started. I never had any issues with my old housemate. My current housemate, however, drinks every day in the room and plays loud music all throughout the night. As such, I am not getting enough sleep from the past few months. Even though I tried to sleep, the loud noise made it hard to sleep. As I was not able to sleep, I was not able to concentrate on my work.
Would you kindly give a warning to my present housemate or transfer me to a new room? I would prefer to live with anyone who is quieter and more sensible to other personal spaces.
Thank you for consideration.
Yours faithfully,
Sai.
