The charts below show what UK graduate and postgraduate students who did not go into full-time work did after leaving college in 2008.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons were relevant.

The two bar graphs illustrate what graduate and postgraduate pupils in the United Kingdom did in 2008, when they chose not to go into regular full-time jobs after finishing college.

Overall, both graduates and postgraduates preferred further education over everything else. In contrast, the second most popular option was doing a part-time job, while unemployment and voluntary work seemed to take the last place in the chart.

First of all, 29,665 undergraduates, who did not plan on taking up a full-time job, went on to pursue higher studies. However, 17,735 chose to do part-time work, while 3,500 volunteered their skills. Also a big portion remained unemployed.

Lastly, the most number of postgraduates (2,725) also perused further studies. Similar to graduates, second most chosen option was a part-time job, while volunteering was the least chosen task. Furthermore, 1,625 postgraduates stayed unemployed in 2008.
