Robert E. Peary was a well-known adventurer and arctic explorer who in 1909 set out to reach the north pole and claimed to have reached the pole on April 7, 1909. there is not solid evidence for proving his claim, the first reason, it is true that a committee was instructed for declaring his claim but the committee was not objective and many of committee members were Peary' close friend and those ones were biased so we can not trust to committee members. the second reason, that was not possible for him that uses the same kind of dogsled that used Avery because those foods that he might use at that time were unfavorable. the third reason, there are photographs taken by Peary for supporting his claim but we can not be sure really those pictures taken at the north pole because the pictures are not clear and we can not recognize that place is exactly north pole also the shadows for calculating the sun' position are not reliable and precise.
