The bar charts illustrate degree of cleanliness and amount of water supplied in Australia and South East Asia in the years 1990 and 2010. The scale is in percents.
Overall, The amount of water supplied has increased in the both countries, however degree of pure water has decreased in South East Asia.
In the preliminary year 80 percent of Australian was supplied with water, while in South East Asia the same indicator was about 35 percent. After 20 years almost 100% of people in Australia were supplied with water. Percentage of people supplied with water in South East Asia has dramatically jumped almost twice and has reached about 75 percent.
In beginning of the period quality of water in Australia was about 70 percent. In the same period of time water pureness of the citizens of South East Asia was 40 percent. Whilst water cleanliness in Australia has risen to approximately 83 percent, quality of water in South East Asia has fallen to 35 percent in the year 2010.
