Writing Task 1
You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
The charts below show local government expenditure in 2010 and 2015.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Write at least 150 words.

The two pie graphs given illustrate different provincial government expenses in 2010 and 2015. Overall, it can be clear that the percentage changes were generally insignificant.
In 2010, the government invested nearly a quarter of their total amount of money in education. The percentage of total expense that was 3% lower was Healthcare expenditure. They also invested19% and 17% of their money in paying for retired residents and local defense, respectively. Other investments were not very noticeable and they were only responsible for one fifth of the government’s expense.
In 2015, these figures oscillated a little bit. Compared with the first chart, the second chart demonstrates that the government less spent on Education and Healthcare about 3% and 1%, respectively. The investment in Pension remained unchanged, it was about 19% of the total expense. There were also small reductions in the percentage of money poured in Defense. However, we can see that they concentrated more in Welfare as well as loans’ interest as the proportion rose significantly about 5% in both categories. Investment in transport, culture and leisure and other basically unchanged and they were still accountable for the least.
