The given bar charts provide information about the percentages of Australian citizens, separated by genre and age, watching two different genres of tv shows.
At a first glance, reality shows resulted to attract especially females respect to their counterpart. On the other hand, there was only a slight discrepancy between number of males and females watching tv game shows.
As data suggest, reality shows involved a widely spread age distribution of people. In fact no profound differences could be noted among different age ranges but generally, there was an increasing interest for these shows as the age of people is higher, arriving to the last age category which accounted to approximately 70%.
On the other hand, game shows in Australia gained success especially among an over forty-five years old audience. Middle age people, such as people from 25 to 44 years old, accounted to about 40%. Furthermore, the young people resulted to be the second targeted audience of game shows, with a percentage of just slightly more than 50%.
