The provided line graph illustrates detailed information about overseas tourist destinations in various places in the world.
From first glance, while the majority of visitors who landed in North America, the least figures for travelers belonged to those moving to Sub-Saharan Africa and South-America in 1990.
On average, it is noticeable that there was the largest change in the number of people who arrived in central and Eastern Europe, at approximately 60 million in 2005. By contrast, South America contributed the smallest increases by just over 5 million tourists throughout this period. In addition, about 30 million international tourists who went to South-East Asia, more than three-fold as many as in central and Eastern Europe.
Looking at the line graph in more detail, after the substantial upward trend of two times, central and Eastern Europe had an equal trend in comparison with North America, at roughly 90 million visitors from abroad. Besides, despite having the same data in the beginning, the number of travelers going to Sub-Saharan Africa was just under 5 million as high as in South America in the next 15 years. Due to the double rise between 1990 and 2005, South America still stood at the third-ranking among five distinct parts of the world.
