the diagram below shows the process of distlling salty water into fresh water.
The process illustrates the extracting of fresh water from salt water by distillation.
It is therefore, clear that, all the materials should be used properly to get better result. First of all, fire the gas stove and put a pot filled with salty water on stove. Then, the pot was covered by funnel in opposite direction. After that, a long pipe was attached to narrow part of funnel for passing steam of salty water.
The diagram reveals that, steam was cooled in the middle of pipe by cloth wrapping on the pipe and water was thrown on the piece of cloth. Adding to it, steam was converted into :water, got down into bucket through pipe. At last , the water in the became pure.
It is therefore, clear that, every step in this process is mandatory to get fresh water. If we miss any of the step then whole process can be wasted.
