Dear Emily,
How’re you?
It’s been a long time since we saw each other, and I hope you’re doing fine in this period. I’m extremely happy to hear that you are planning to visit India next month for your vacation and want to stay with me. But, I’m sorry because I won’t be able to accommodate you at my apartment.
Let me shed some light on my helplessness. I’ve to go for six months long business trip to the US for our upcoming project. So, I decided to vacate the house since there was no point in paying the rent of the apartment for this time period. I’ll look for a new residence once I’ll be back from my trip.
If I had received your letter a little earlier, then I would have delayed the lease of my apartment by one more month. I hope you’ll get it and will be okay with it.
I know a few guest houses which have an English speaking staff as well. They also provide commutation and a tourist guide services which are is inclusive in the per day room price. Once you confirm, I can make bookings for the length of your stay in one of these hotels.
Best wishes,
Ruchi
