You are going to another country to study. You would like to do a part-time job while you are studying, so you want to ask a friend who lives there for some help. Write a letter to this friend. In your letter:
give details of your study plans
explain why you want to get a part-time job
suggest how your friend could help you find a job
Dear Jack,
I hope this letter finds you in a radiant of health and the best of spirit. I am writing this letter to inform you that my application for Texas university has been approved and it’s about three months that I have been living in Texas.
As I said in our last conversation, I had applied for data analyst major. Fortunately, the first semester has been allotted to be familiar with campus and aver come to culture shock more than academical courses. So, our curricular is not very intensive. All of course are arranged to hold in morning and I always free in the evening.
On the contrary what I had supposed, there is a shortage of affordable accommodation so that my money is tight now. To assist in covering the cost, I aim to find a part time job. Besides, by working I could make a contribution to society and it will uphold my language skills and undermine my home sick feeling simultaneously.
I remember that your parents had established an Iranian restaurant. I am really eager to say that I am fully ready to work there as a chef assistant in the case of there is a job vacancy.
I look forward to hearing from you as early as possible. In addition, it takes ages since I last saw you so you are more than welcome to come to my accommodation. Please find the address in below line.
Best Regards,
Sahar
