The given column graph illustrates the distribution of global car sharing usage (in percentage) by two specific years 2008 and 2016 across six different domains.
Overall, what stand out from the chart is that the trend of car sharing was most popular in Europe during initial year, whereas in last year it became favorable in North America. Furthermore, other areas showed considerably less interest in car sharing.
Firstly, in terms of the most significant feature of the graph, in North America, figure stood at just over 30% in 2008, while after eight years number rose strikingly to around 52%. Secondly, another important point is that the rate of sharing car was declined in Europe from just under 60% to nearly a half that of 2008.
By stark contrast, the least number of car sharing showed in South America, Australia, and Asia. Moreover, there was a slight rise in figure by 2% in these three areas through out the period. The noteable point is that the proportion was stayed under 6% in all these regions during the time span.
