The two pie charts provide information regarding to the ability of British students in speaking other languages at a university in 2000 and 2010.
At first, by comparing figures in 2000 and 2010, it seems that being familiar with languages in two comparing years had broadly 5% increment or stayed in the same figure. However, the ability of knowing languages soared partially by moving to the year 2010, because speaking no other languages dipped from 20% to 10%.
Knowing German and two other languages had obviously the same proportions (10%), and the figures of French language with another languages were similar in the year 2000. Interestingly, speaking Spanish with unfamiliarity with any language dedicated 50% of the chart to themselves at the same year. Turning to the year 2010, French, German and having no second language skill had the equal percents (10%), and others, ranging from Spanish, another language, and two other languages had the first to third positions respectively.
To sum up, majority of language known by students have either 5% fluctuation or no change, and furthermore, the ability of knowing other languages are increased totally in contrast with the year 2000.
