Write a letter to your manager about a computer system problem that you have encountered and say Describe the problem How it is affecting your work What needs to be done about it
Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to bring your attention to the fact that my desktop computer is not working properly for the last one week. I have serious work related issues because of this.
It was the last Friday, I received the first error message on my monitor about the missing of one dll file. I have ignored it as such messages appear often as I deal with many browser windows at the same time. But as it shown repeatedly on the third day also, I become curious. I did some google searches and managed to understand that missing of such dll file could ultimately crash the hard disk to a non-recoverable stage.
Right now, I face severe lags in my online submissions, but it might cause serious delays in the near future. I anticipate the last week's failure in final bid was because of this. I have asked for help from IT support desk, but no one has attended the issue so far. Perhaps, they might not have understood about the serious implications that have affected our operations.
I request you to kindly get a quick resolve on this without any delay. It would be grateful if an earlier action is taken.
Yours faithfully,
Name.
