The diagram illustrates the process of making instant noodles.
Overall, the industrial process of the manufacturing of instant noodles is divided into eight stages, which are mostly carried out with the use of automated machines.
Firstly, the base ingredient, which is flour, is stored in silos. Trucks are used to transport flour to the storage facilities. Then, the flour is mixed with water and oil in predecided proportions by the mixer machine. The dough is generated from the previous stage, will be now cut into strips. After that, strips are transformed into the usual disc shape of noodles.
The discs are further cooked in oil and dried to form solid noodles. The cooked noodles are packed into cups with added dried vegetables and spices. Finally, cups are sealed and labels of the brand’s name are applied. In the end, noodles are shipped and placed on supermarket shelves for consumers.
