The bar chart below demonstrates the outcomes of a research about Australian citizens tea and coffee consumption habits in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart in the last 4 weeks.
At the first glance, Australian residents in these cities prefer to have a sit-down tea or coffee outdoor in a café than to purchase instant or to-go ones. The proportions for this sector was recorded as over 60% in 3 cities Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart and over 55% for Brisbane, with Melbourne’s being the highest at 63%. Adelaide is the only exception of the previous statement as it is shown that half of it’s citizens favour instant coffee, the number of people enjoy having their brews in a café followed not far behind with 49%. This city also do not drinks these beverages as much as other cities in the survey.
The second choice for the cities’ residents was obviously instant caffein minus Adelaide as mentioned above, with Hobart at the top for nearly 55% and the lowest percentage was Sydney with just a little more than 45%.
It is safe to say that the locals in these cities are not appreciate to-go caffeins as much as thay are the others. Brisbane appears to be in the bottom of the list with under 35% of it’s native reported to have bought fresh coffee in the last 4 weeks. Sydney landed at the top of this list with approximately 43%.
