The bar chart compares the proportion of two genders in some generation who did exercise regularly in Australia in 2010.
It is clear that men did most exercise when they were in 15 to 24 years old while it is in 45 to 54 years old for women. It is also noticeable that the main trend was women did more regular physical activities than men in most age groups.
In 2010, over 50% women aged 35 to 64 did exercise regularly while the figures for men was much lower ranging from 39.5% to 45.1%. Additionally, the 15 to 24 age group was the only case which has the percentage of men was higher than women with 52.2% and 47.7% respectively.
Looking at other age groups, exercises were done by 42.2% men in the 25 to 34 age group whereas the figure for the opposite sex was slightly higher with 48.9%. The last age group (65 and over) was the only case that the proportions for men and women were similar at 47%.
