After once a week, once or twice a month became the second most frequent time for Americans to eat at fast food restaurants during 2003 and 2006, at 30% and 25%, consecutively. Next, Americans mainly ate at fast food restaurants several times a week during 2003 and 2006, at around 17% and 20%, respectively. And in both 2003 and 2006, Americans' least frequency in eating in fast food restaurants was every day, at below 5%.
Meanwhile, in 2013, Americans mainly ate at fast food restaurants once or twice a month, at about 33%. Next, Americans mostly ate at fast food restaurants once a week, at approximately 27%. Following once a week was several times a week and a few times a year, at about 16% and 15%, consecutively. The least frequency for Americans to eat in fast food restaurant in 2013 was every day, at about 3%.
