The chart give information about the telephone calls in the UK from 1995 to 2002, measured in minutes (in billions) and divided into three categories.
In 1995, the highest telephone calls were the local fixed lines - just over 70 minutes, whereas with just under 40 minutes were the national and international fixed lines. In 1999, the local fixed line reached a peak - 90 minutes per billion and after that declined suddenly, where in 2002 reached 70 minutes again.
National and international fixed lines increased slowly for the whole period, where in 1999 were already 50 minutes per billion, then in 2002, they reached a peak - just over 60 minutes. The lowest use of calls were mobiles, they were around 3-4 minutes in 1995 and increased slightly until 1999, where they were around 14 minutes per billion. In 2002 mobile calls were already just under 50 minutes.
Overall, for the whole period the most used calls were the local fixed lines where they levelled out at 70 minutes. There were upward trends for both - national and international and mobile calls.
